DSC06765 Artist

In 2013, I started to become fascinated with David Hockney’s photographic “Joiners”. I fell in love with his Cubist style and more importantly, how his works add depth to an otherwise two dimensional image (I encourage you to look him up).

I began my own joiners photographic journey shortly thereafter and am always looking for my next great subject idea. In the case of faces, I feel the joiner style brings out different moods and personalities. It also encourages us to look at details within the whole.

I hope you enjoy what I have so far! If you are interested in commissioning a piece, please contact me directly at patti@patriciafortlage.com or 650.393.3569.
